Model range

Scania R: The most popular series for international transport. Highline or Topliner cab. 13-litre engines (410, 450, 500 HP) and 16-litre V8 (530, 590, 660, 770 HP).
Scania S: Flat-floor cab with 2,130 mm interior height. Maximum comfort for long-distance. Same engine options as the R.
Scania G: Lower cab for distribution and applications requiring a low centre of gravity. 13-litre engine with 410 to 500 HP.

The Scania V8 engine

Scania's 16.4-litre V8 is a legend in heavy transport. With configurations of 530, 590, 660 and 770 HP, it is the most powerful engine available in a European truck. It uses XPI (Extra High Pressure Injection) at 2,700 bar with dual-stage turbo. The V8 is the choice for timber transport, heavy special and applications requiring maximum power reserve.
