The MAN EfficientCruise system uses GPS and topographic data to adjust speed and gears, reducing fuel consumption by up to 6%.
The 12-speed TipMatic 2 automated transmission features the Idle Speed Driving system for extremely low-speed manoeuvring without the clutch. EfficientRoll mode decouples the engine on downhill sections to use momentum. Also available with integrated EVBec retarder (decompression engine brake) delivering up to 400 kW of braking power.
