PACCAR MX maintenance and inspection points on a used DAF

The PACCAR MX-13 engine is very reliable, but the DPF and SCR need to run: if the vehicle has stood idle for more than 2 weeks, a forced regeneration is advisable, checking the filter has not clogged. Inspect the EAS aftertreatment system for NOx sensor warnings, the condition of the injectors and any EGR coolant leaks.
