DAF XF 510 FT from 2016, a long-distance tractor unit with ADR certification for the transport of dangerous goods, available at COA Trucks as a used vehicle with 1,013,000 kilometres on the odometer. A reference tractor in the heavy-duty segment, sourced from Spain, which combines power, range and complete equipment for the most demanding routes. The heart of this DAF XF is the PACCAR MX-13 engine, a six-cylinder in-line unit of 12,902 cc that delivers 510 horsepower. It complies with Euro 6 regulations, which allows unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones in Spain and throughout the rest of Europe, a decisive advantage for fleets with international operations. The displacement and power of this engine make it a solid option for long-distance services with maximum loads. The transmission is the DAF TraXon automated gearbox with 12 speeds, which optimises gear changes and reduces driver fatigue on extended journeys. The axle configuration is 4x2 with full air suspension, which improves load stability and driving comfort. The braking system combines engine brake and retarder, providing additional braking capacity especially useful on prolonged descents or with loaded semi-trailers. The vehicle also incorporates power take-off (PTO) and hydraulics, which expands its possibilities for use with auxiliary equipment. The two fuel tanks have a combined capacity of 1,275 litres, providing this tractor unit with outstanding range for long-distance routes without frequent refuelling stops. The cab is the DAF long-distance high version, with two berths and driver on the left, designed for teams working on continuous driving schedules. The on-board equipment includes air conditioning, stationary air conditioning, autonomous heater, heated seats, refrigerator and cruise control. Exterior lighting with LED lights completes a cabin prepared to guarantee driver rest and operational capability during extended working days. In terms of active safety, the DAF XF 510 FT is equipped with ABS/EBS and ESP. The exterior incorporates roof spoiler and side spoilers that contribute to the aerodynamic efficiency of the unit.
