The DAF XF 510 from 2017 is a long-distance tractor unit designed for demanding transport operations on national and international routes. With a 4x2 configuration and high long-distance cab, this second-hand industrial vehicle has accumulated 759,880 kilometres, reflecting continuous professional use in the heavy goods road transport segment. The mechanical heart of the DAF XF 510 is the PACCAR MX-13 engine, a six-cylinder diesel block with 12,902 cc displacement and an output of 510 hp. It complies with Euro 6 regulations thanks to a combined SCR and DPF aftertreatment system, which allows unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones in Spain and the rest of Europe. The capacity of the two fuel tanks totals 1,275 litres, outstanding range for long-distance routes without frequent refuelling stops. The transmission is the DAF TraXon automated gearbox with 12 gears, which optimises gear changes and reduces driver fatigue on extended journeys. The high long-distance cab of the DAF XF 510 is equipped with two sleeping berths, air conditioning, stationary AC and autonomous heating, allowing the driver to rest in optimal conditions without needing to keep the engine running. Heated seats and a refrigerator complete a cabin designed for driver wellbeing on the road. LED lighting and cruise control round out equipment designed to maximise efficiency and comfort on long driving days. In terms of active safety, this second-hand tractor unit incorporates ABS/EBS and ESP, systems that enhance vehicle stability and control in emergency situations.
