How is an imported semi-trailer type-approved?
With a COC or European approval it registers with a reduced technical sheet and the import roadworthiness test. If it has unregistered axle or suspension modifications, we process them. Delivered registered.
Which countries do you import semi-trailers from?
Mainly Germany and the Netherlands, the markets with the most supply and best maintenance (Schmitz, Krone, Kögel). Also Belgium, France and Italy.
Do you import refrigerated semi-trailers?
Yes, they're among the most in-demand. We assess the fridge unit (Carrier, Thermo King), running hours and the condition of the insulation and body.
How much does it cost to import a semi-trailer?
Transport for a semi-trailer is usually cheaper than for a tractor unit. Legalization in Spain is around 500-600€. Fixed quote before starting.
How long does it take?
Between 1 and 3 weeks depending on the country of origin and the body type.
