Renault T 520 from 2023, a second-hand tractor unit designed for the most demanding long-distance haulage, arriving at COA Trucks with 372,211 kilometres on the clock and all the robustness of a latest-generation industrial vehicle. Its Sleeper Cab configuration with two berths and its comprehensive equipment make it a top-tier option for goods transport on national and international routes. The heart of this tractor unit is the Volvo DTI 13 engine, a six-cylinder diesel block of 12,800 cc delivering 520 horsepower. It complies with Euro 6 regulations thanks to a combined SCR and DPF aftertreatment system, allowing unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones throughout Europe. The fuel capacity of 1,250 litres distributed across two tanks, together with a 75-litre AdBlue tank, guarantees outstanding range for the longest routes. The Renault Optidriver automated 12-speed transmission offers smooth and precise gear changes, reducing driver fatigue on long shifts. The 4x2 axle configuration with pneumatic suspension and a 380 cm wheelbase provide stability and adaptability to different types of semi-trailer. The braking system combines engine brake, retarder and Optibrake, a combination that enhances safety on prolonged descents and reduces wear on the service brakes. The medium-length long-distance Sleeper Cab with two berths is equipped with air conditioning, stationary AC and autonomous heating, allowing optimal temperature maintenance without the need to start the engine. Heated seats, refrigerator, sat-nav and LED lights complete a cabin designed for driver comfort on multi-day journeys. Cruise control and adaptive cruise control facilitate motorway driving, whilst Lane Assist helps keep the vehicle safely in lane. In terms of active safety, the Renault T 520 features ABS/EBS and ESP. On the exterior, the aerodynamic package stands out, comprising roof spoiler, side spoilers, side skirts and visor, which improve vehicle efficiency on the road. The bodywork colour is white.
