It complies with Euro 6 regulations with a combined SCR and DPF aftertreatment system, which allows unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones in Spain and throughout the rest of Europe. Fuel capacity stands at 1,350 litres distributed across two tanks, which significantly extends range between refuelling stops. The transmission is a ZF automated gearbox with 12 speeds, which reduces driver fatigue on extended journeys and optimises fuel consumption on each leg. The external dimensions are 616 cm in length by 254 cm in width, and the tyres on the front axle are size 315/70R22.5. The cab of the Ford Trucks F-MAX 500 is equipped with air conditioning and cruise control, features that directly contribute to driver comfort during intensive driving days. The driving position is located on the left-hand side, in accordance with European standard, and the vehicle originates from the Spanish market. In terms of active safety, this tractor unit incorporates ABS/EBS and ESP, systems that improve vehicle stability and control in emergency situations or under reduced grip conditions.
