The 2020 Volvo FH 460 is a second-hand tractor unit designed to deliver outstanding performance on long-distance routes, combining power, efficiency and high-level equipment. With 560,000 kilometres on the clock, this industrial vehicle arrives at COA Trucks with all the solidity that characterises Volvo's FH range. Under the bonnet sits the Volvo D13K engine, a six-cylinder in-line unit of 12,800 cc that develops 460 horsepower. The SCR post-treatment system plus DPF ensures compliance with Euro 6 regulations, allowing unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones in Spain and the rest of Europe. It is one of the most recognised engines in the sector for its balance between performance and fuel consumption on long-haul routes. The transmission is automatic, with a ZF 12-speed gearbox, which facilitates driving in all conditions and reduces driver fatigue during long shifts. The axle configuration is 4x2, with an axle distance of 380 cm. The auxiliary braking features engine brake and retarder, which provides safe and efficient speed management on prolonged descents, reducing wear on the service brake system. In terms of active safety, this tractor unit is fitted with ABS/EBS and ESP as standard. The medium-length Globetrotter long-distance cab is the space where the driver spends most of their working day, and the Volvo FH 460 does not disappoint in this regard. It is equipped with two beds, air conditioning, stationary AC and autonomous heating to guarantee rest regardless of external conditions. The seats are heated, and the cab includes a satnav, refrigerator and sunroof. The steering wheel is positioned on the right-hand side, and the two fuel tanks have a combined capacity of 978 litres, which significantly extends range on the road. As for driving assistance systems, this Volvo FH is equipped with adaptive cruise control, Lane Assist and collision warning, an ADAS package that enhances active safety on motorways and national roads. On the exterior, the tractor unit features a roof spoiler, side spoilers and visor, elements that contribute to the aerodynamic efficiency of the unit.
