How much does it cost to import a truck from Germany?

Transport from Germany is around 700-1,300€ and legalization in Spain is usually around 600€ (tractor units exempt from IEDMT). We give you a fixed quote before starting.

What documents do I need to import a truck from Germany?

The Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I and II (registration certificate), the COC or type-approval certificate and the purchase invoice. We gather and process everything.

Is the TÜV valid as the ITV in Spain?

Not directly: in Spain the vehicle must pass the import roadworthiness test (ITV). But a recent TÜV is a good sign that it will pass without issues.

Can I bring the truck on German plates?

Temporary export plates (Ausfuhrkennzeichen) are used for the journey. You cannot drive indefinitely on German plates in Spain; we register it here.

Why import from Germany instead of buying in Spain?

More supply, better maintenance and more competitive prices, especially on Euro 6. The saving usually more than covers the cost of importing.
