The 2021 Renault T 520 is a second-hand tractor unit designed for the most demanding long-distance haulage, capable of tackling international routes with confidence thanks to its powerful engine and comprehensive equipment. With 343,212 km and 6,447 engine hours recorded, this commercial vehicle arrives at COA Trucks in a condition consistent with its professional work history. Under the bonnet sits the Volvo DTI 13 engine, a six-cylinder diesel block of 12,800 cc that delivers 520 hp. It complies with Euro 6 regulations through a combined SCR and DPF aftertreatment system, allowing unrestricted circulation through low-emission zones in Spain and the rest of Europe. A robust and well-sized engine for general cargo transport on long-distance routes. The transmission is the Renault Optidriver automated gearbox with 12 gears, which optimises gear changes and reduces driver fatigue during extended shifts. The axle configuration is 4x2, with an axle distance of 380 cm. The auxiliary braking system combines engine brake, retarder and Optibrake, offering progressive and safe braking capacity on prolonged descents. The maximum authorised mass is 18,000 kg, with a kerb weight of 8,049 kg and a declared payload of 10,000 kg. The Renault T 520 cab is a medium long-distance type, with left-hand drive. It is equipped with conventional air conditioning, stationary air conditioning and autonomous heating, guaranteeing thermal comfort both whilst driving and during stops. Interior equipment includes integrated satnav, refrigerator and LED lights. Adaptive cruise control, together with the Lane Assist system and forward collision alert, makes every shift a more comfortable and less demanding experience for the driver. In terms of active safety, this tractor unit is fitted with ABS/EBS and ESP as standard.
