How much does it cost to import a tractor unit from Germany?
Transport is usually 700-1,300€ and full legalization in Spain (reduced technical sheet, import roadworthiness test and DGT fees) is around 600€, since the tractor unit is exempt from registration tax. We give you a fixed quote before starting.
Does an imported tractor unit need type approval?
No, if it has a COC or European type approval — every post-2002 tractor unit does. It registers directly with a reduced technical sheet. Approval is only needed if it carries unregistered modifications.
