How much does it cost to import a tractor unit from Germany?
It depends on the vehicle, the year and the country of origin. A big advantage: the tractor unit is exempt from registration tax, which makes legalization considerably cheaper. We give you a fixed quote before starting, no surprises.
Does an imported tractor unit need type approval?
No, if it has a COC or European type approval — every post-2002 tractor unit does. It registers directly with a reduced technical sheet. Approval is only needed if it carries unregistered modifications.
